Born in the Eastern Highlands Province and brought up in Markham Morobe Province Charlene learnt to create her artwork as a child by watching her family and friends. Charlene creates a multitude of different art pieces including, claypot, flower vases, kundu, plates/dishes and cups, which she sells. Her dream is to promote her provinces hand-made pottery throughout the world, to have her own warehouse to sell her pieces to other countries and provide for herself.
